It contains a balanced amount of moisturizing ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, prebiotics and Sodium PCA, which is part of the skin's natural moisturizing factor. Sodium-PCA pyroglutamic acid sodium, an amino acid that is part of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF) is much more effective than other traditional moisturizing ingredients. Occurs naturally in human skin, binds water in cells. Na-PCA is a non-irritating and non-allergenic cosmetic ingredient. It is made from glutamic acid, an amino acid found in fruits, vegetables, molasses and grass.
