It has anti-inflammatory properties and is active in cell renewal, which is necessary for wound healing and restoration of the skin's natural protective barrier.

Vitamin E acetate is a stable form of vitamin E. It protects cell membranes from damage by free oxygen radicals by limiting the process of lipid peroxidation in the membranes. It has antioxidant and soothing properties and therefore contributes to slowing down the aging of the skin.

Magnolia bark extract mainly contains two pharmacologically active components magnolol and honokiol. It has broad antimicrobial properties independent of the pH value of the preparation.
